Labatut Transports' commitments and actions
- Implement precise and relevant indicators to measure the impacts of its activities on greenhouse gases (GHGs) and the environment.
- To display these same results and the evolution of its performance, to ensure total transparency with regard to customers.
- Raise awareness among the teams about eco-friendly driving.
Creation of a new Railway Path:
In 2006, a new railway line was created between its Trappes site and its customers' production plants in Italy (more than 3,000 trucks are taken off the road each year, no longer passing through the Alpine tunnels and transferred to rail).
The "Short Sea Shipping" line
Since 2001, the "Short Sea Shipping" line has been used on a daily basis between Marseille and Livorno in Italy for the transport of its trucks.
