The Labatut group on Italian time!

Viva Italia! Veolog (Labatut Group) opened a subsidiary in Italy on December 1 to support ECO WATER, one of its long-standing customers specializing in water treatment and filtration.

The operator offers a full range of logistics services, as well as a distribution offer through its sister company Transports Labatut. Enough to attract Italian shippers looking to supply the French market, and vice-versa!
Supporting our customers' development abroad...

Supporting ECO WATER's development in Italy represents a real opportunity for the Group," says Edouard Sierocki, Managing Director of SAS Veolog. Today, it enables us to offer our French customers and our Italian prospects logistics gateways between the two countries, as well as strengthening the Labatut Group's transport business from Italy. "
...by offering them a complete on-site logistics service

On site, at its warehouse in Sassuolo, near Bologna, Veolog offers a complete service. The operator manages goods reception (containers, pallets, etc.), storage, order preparation and downstream transport, as well as co-manufacturing (filter assembly in particular).

With this new warehouse, Veolog aims to support Italian shippers in the development of their distribution in France, by making its 8 national platforms available to them.

Edouard Sierocki continues: "All our order preparation processes, our responsiveness, our flexibility, and our commitment to service levels will give our Italian partners the assurance of perfect control over their flows. And, of course, if one of our customers asks us to support their development in another country, we'll look into it!
Veolog is the logistics arm of the Labatut Group (Garonne), which comprises 3 other divisions:

  •    Labatut Transports, which provides road transport services (national/international),
  •    Labatut LVI, specialized in the rental of industrial vehicles with driver,
  •    Vert Chez Vous, the latest addition, specializing in eco-responsible urban distribution (in association with Tendron SA).

The Labatut Group's financial forecasts for 2011 are consolidated sales of €41 million and net operating income of €1.7 million.
